This is one of my favorites, even though I had some trouble figuring out when to stop. Pencil is my favorite medium because I feel like I have enough control over it that I can add as much detail as I want. This drawing means a lot to me because it was the first time I got creative input from another artist that I look up to, and that advice is a large part of the reason this drawing ended up the way it did.

Done with a mechanical pencil and a 6B pencil. A lot of hours went into this.

This drawing was based off of a photo that can be found here: [link]

This again is amazing. The level of detail is simply astounding. The hair is deeply textured with care, and it comes together with the shading on the rest of the face and body to give you that sense of where the light is coming from.
This piece has a level of intricate detail most other artists can only dream of capturing, a fine work!

For some reason I really like unfinished pencil drawings. :D I absolutely love the texture of the hair, it looks so real and the skin is so nice too, not too smooth. How big is the drawing?

I gave it away a few years back, but I'm pretty sure it was 18x24 paper (but I could be wrong). And thank you for the kind words! :)
